Mission Yoga Classes | Sarayana Yoga


The Sarayana Yoga Practice is best done as a whole, mixing Ground, Center, and Sky classes for the greatest resonance and growth.

Ground Classes | Sarayana Yoga


This passive practice consists of mostly floor poses held between 2 and 5 minutes. While our Yang practices work with muscle, the yin practice targets connective tissue, ligaments, and joints. Yin works to increase the fluid matrix of these tissues in the body and improve the flow of Chi (vital energy) within the Meridian channels which flow through connective tissue. Ground practice cultivates your connection to being and helps develop willingness to approach stillness and silence in order to land in the moment. All practice must begin in the moment so this is our foundational practice.

Center Classes | Sarayana Yoga


This class includes long held, passive Yin poses to open the joints as well as slow, yet intense (Yang) poses to strengthen the core connection and increase integrated muscle coordination. We use movement and meditation techniques to explore the Taoist and Yogic concepts of opposites that can create balance within our bodies and minds. The Center practice is highly recommended for students of all levels, as it focuses and elevates the connection to the aims of Yoga as a whole. Find your own set of circumstances and strengths as you build a clear understanding of your self and your approach to life.

Sky Classes | Sarayana Yoga


This Yang (active) practice is open to all levels and builds on the foundations of Ground and Center classes to explore more complex concepts through movement.

This class blends Vinyasa flow with a more workshop like approach to practice. We will breakdown and rebuild complex postures and explore nuanced relationships. There may be longer holds, partner work, and wall work to support meaningful learning. Expect a complete practice that expands awareness and grows your movement I.Q.

Sky practice is meant to help you tap into your potential and challenge your habits leading you to more growth.

Dive deep every week in this 2 hour practice that expands on the basic format of our Sky class to include discussion, partner work, breath-work, and meditation. This Sarayana Yoga class explores the full spectrum of meaningful and potent personal practice within a supportive community setting. Connect to Ground, Center, and Sky and leave feeling organized and clear in your vision and navigation of life off the mat.

Kundalini | Mission Yoga


Sitting meditation has always been part of Yoga practice throughout its long history. This class is designed to help establish, maintain or deepen a meditation practice in your life. Each session of Meditation will open with brief instruction in the fundamentals (if required) and a short orientation of the class theme, followed by simple breath work, a period of silent meditation and ending with an inspiring talk and discussion. The intent of this practice is to mindfully engage and integrate body, breath, mind and heart.

Kundalini | Mission Yoga


This Gentle/Restorative practice uses various props to allow you to stay in poses for a longer period of time, without discomfort, stress, strain, injury risk or pain. This class will reboot your nervous system to create more vitality in the mind and body, relieving anxiety and improving overall health. Restorative Yoga is all about rest, nourishment, and reflection.

Kundalini | Mission Yoga


An uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices, our Kundalini class incorporates movement, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and the chanting of mantras with more alignment cues and grounding Hatha yoga poses to create a well rounded and safe practice.
